1、 Structure of ceramic roller coating:

1. Cold bonded wear-resistant ceramic roller coating: This coating method first uses vulcanization technology to make independent small pieces of ceramics and rubber plates into ceramic rubber plates, and then uses cold bonding to stick the ceramic rubber plates onto the roller. Each ceramic piece has a raised feature, and under normal conveyor belt pressure, thousands of uniquely cast protrusions can actively pull, prevent slipping, and extend the service life of the conveyor belt drum. Meanwhile, the elasticity of the underlying rubber can provide excellent impact resistance.

2. Overall hot vulcanization wear-resistant ceramic roller coating: There is a significant difference between the overall hot vulcanization process and the cold bonding process. Cold bonding involves sticking multiple ceramic rubber plates onto the roller, while the overall hot vulcanization process directly uses hot vulcanization technology to coat rubber and ceramics based on the size of the roller. The coating is a whole with no gaps in the middle. There is not much difference between the two in terms of wear resistance, impact resistance, and other performance, but the overall hot vulcanized ceramic roller coating can better prevent water and moisture, and has stronger resistance to harsh environments.

2、 What are the advantages of overall hot vulcanization wear-resistant ceramic roller coating?

1. Ceramic high wear resistance, effectively protecting the drum and rubber: The ceramic with protrusions is vulcanized on the rubber surface, avoiding direct friction of the rubber and protecting the drum. The high hardness of the ceramic gives it excellent wear resistance, improving the overall wear resistance of the drum rubber coating

2. Special structure to prevent belt deviation and slippage: Traditional rubber wear-resistant layer passes through a certain period. After wear and tear, the surface becomes smooth, which can easily cause the belt to slip and deviate. The surface of ceramic tiles has protrusions and high roughness, and the friction coefficient between ceramics and belts is high, so continuous operation is not easy to slip or deviate.

3. Extend the service life of belts and rollers: Under the same load, ceramic roller coating can reduce the tension of the belt and extend the service life of the belt. Whether it is cold bonding or hot vulcanization, Jingcheng has mature processes that can tightly bond the coating with the drum without falling off. The service life of ceramic drum coating is more than 10 times that of rubber drum.

4. There are grooves between ceramics for easy drainage and sewage discharge: Each ceramic rubber plate has grooves spaced at a certain distance, which can allow foreign objects (dust, soil) on the drum to be discharged along the grooves, giving the drum a unique self-cleaning function, especially suitable for humid working environments.

5. Easy installation: The construction process is mature, simple, and has a short cycle. After the steel structure is completed, an installer can generally complete the installation of a ceramic drum with adhesive within one day, without delaying customer production and facilitating timely production.
