Alumina ceramics are industrial Al2O3, prepared from bauxite and boehmite. For Al2O3 with high purity requirements, chemical methods are generally used for preparation. The main molding methods include extrusion, isostatic pressing, grouting, dry pressing, injection molding, and high-temperature calcination.

Aluminum oxide ceramics have strong weather resistance, which means they have strong adaptability to external climate, are resistant to sunlight, acid rain corrosion, and stable performance. Its surface and cutting edge do not require oil paint or protective layer, they can be directly glazed. Adding composite ceramic materials such as zirconia, silica, and silicon nitride powders during the calcination of alumina ceramics can greatly increase the hardness and strength of the ceramics. Compared with traditional ceramics, alumina ceramics have lower water absorption, lower cost, and higher brittleness.
