Zirconia ceramics have phase transformation toughness and micro-crack toughness, so they have high strength and toughness, and are known as "ceramic steel". Among all ceramics, it has the highest fracture toughness. Has excellent room temperature mechanical properties. On this basis, we optimized the zirconia formula and process, and obtained high hardness, high strength and high toughness zirconia ceramics with fine-grained structure. High hardness, high strength and high toughness ensure that zirconia ceramics have incomparable wear resistance than other traditional structural ceramics. Ceramics with fine-grained structure can be processed with very low surface roughness (<0.1um). Therefore, the friction coefficient of the ceramic surface is reduced, thereby reducing the friction force and improving the quality of the wire drawing (the drawn wire is smooth and free of burrs, and it is not easy to break). This fine-grained structure of zirconia has a self-lubricating effect, and it will become more and more shiny when drawing. The elastic modulus and thermal expansion coefficient of zirconia ceramics are similar to those of steel, so it can be organically combined with steel to form a composite puller, and will not be damaged or burst due to inconsistent thermal expansion. The use proves that the zirconia ceramic wire drawing wheel is an ideal accessory for modern high-speed wire drawing machines.
