Installation technology and application of alumina ceramic wear resistant tile

(1) Adhesive type

Characteristics: Adhesive installation is simple, low cost, strong bonding, very suitable for large-scale construction on site, saving time.

Processing: The most important thing for the adhesive type is the construction process and the glue. The traditional process uses epoxy glue to paste wear-resistant ceramic sheets. This kind of glue is mainly organic and has the disadvantages of not being able to withstand high temperatures (the highest temperature is 150 degree) and is easy to age. It can't meet the requirements of perennial use. If it is operated under ultra-high temperature conditions all the year round, the viscose is very easy to age and become brittle. Especially in the case of sudden cooling and sudden heat, the thermal expansion parameters of the ceramic and the rail are different, and the organic viscose is more brittle, which is very easy to peel off the whole ceramic.

Application: dust removal pipeline, coarse and fine powder separator, coal mill outlet pipe, branch pipe and air pipe, cyclone, powder discharge machine, powder separator, magnetic separator, V separator, fan volute, etc.


(2) Welded

Characteristics: double fixation, good reliability, high temperature resistance up to 750℃

Processing: The welding type is to cold weld the ceramics to the facility through the cold welding holes between the wear-resistant ceramic sheets, and at the same time cooperate with the glue to achieve the effect of double insurance. The cold welding type is suitable for high temperature pipes (750 degree) or situations with slight impact, such as the inlet and outlet pipes of the humidification tower, the kiln tail dust removal pipe, etc.

Application: hot air duct, secondary/tertiary duct, flue wall, support rod, air preheater baffle, etc.


(3) Rubber vulcanization fixation

Characteristics: rubber vulcanization, gluing and multiple fixation of studs, strong resistance, suitable for impact and abrasion of bulk materials below 120℃

Processing: The wear-resistant ceramic sheet and rubber plate are vulcanized together to resist strong impact. Some rubber plates are lined with steel plates and can be bolted to the wear-resistant surface. They can be divided into two-in-one and three-in-one structures. Form of wear-resistant ceramic rubber composite liner.

Application: chute, hopper, drum, coal hopper, coal pipe, raw coal bunker, coal mill inlet and outlet pipe, etc.


(4) Dovetail card type

Characteristics: firm installation, high temperature resistance, suitable for moving parts, but the process is more complicated

Processing: The dovetail mounting card type is an installation method in which two trapezoidal steel bars are cold welded parallel to the facility to form a dovetail groove, and then the dovetail wear-resistant ceramic piece is inserted into the dovetail groove guide rail. This method is mature and reliable, and can withstand high temperatures below 1000°C, and is particularly suitable for the wear resistance of moving parts such as fan impellers.

Application of wear-resistant tiles/lining: fan impeller, high temperature flue, waste heat power generation pipeline of cement plant, sintering dust removal pipeline, etc.
