What is alumina chemical filling balls?
09-30-2020

Alumina chemical filling balls are mainly made of micro-crystalline AI2O3 as raw materials, using ultra-fine powder, formed by a ball forming machine and roasted at high temperature. Also known as inert alumina ceramic ball, it has the characteristics of high temperature and pressure resistance, low water absorption, stable chemical properties, can withstand the corrosion of acids, alkali and other organic solvents, and can withstand temperature changes during the production process. Its main function is to increase the gas or liquid distribution points, support and protect the active catalyst with low strength. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, fertilizer, natural gas and environmental protection industries.

The inert alumina ceramic ball is a new type of high-strength, high-porosity spherical supporting and protective packing for supporting, covering and protecting the catalyst. High mechanical strength, high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, abrasion resistance, chemical corrosion resistance of strong acids and alkali, excellent resistance to rapid cold and heat and very low chemical activity. Contains a large number of network needle-like structure mullite and corundum crystals and some residual quartz, sintered densely, hard in texture, and not powdered.

Especially has excellent chemical corrosion resistance: in addition to HF acid, it can withstand all inorganic and organic acids and all acid gases and neutral gases. Unless the product is cleaned or replaced by impurities in the raw material gas and liquid, chemical filling ball is used as a catalyst covering, proppant, and protective agent in chemical process equipment. The product itself will not cause any problems, and the service life is guaranteed to be greater than 10 years.
